Murungai Keerai poriyal
For this recipe you need
1 bunch of Drumstick leaves / Murungai keerai
1 tsp. of Mustard and Urad dhal
2 - 3 red chillies
2 tsp. of grated coconut
salt to taste
1 tsp. of oil
Remove the leaves. Wash and keep them aside
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and Urad dhal .When they stop spluttering , add the red chillies.
Now add the drumstick leaves and saute them until they wilt.
Add salt with 1/2 cup of water and mix well . Until the water dries off leave it to cook.
Finally add the grated coconut and saute them for few seconds.
Serve with rice......
Rice, with a little bit of sesame oil and this curry tastes very good.
