Almond / Badam Milk

Almonds are considered to be the King of Nuts. Almonds are a rich source of Vitamin E. They are also rich in monounsaturated fat, responsible for lowering the LDL cholestrol.

How to Prepare this Delicious Badam Milk ?

For this Milk you need

1/2 cup of Almonds
Sugar as needed
1/2 tsp of Kesari powder (optional)
A pinch of cardammom
1 cup of milk

Soak the almonds in hot water for 15 mins and peel the skin.Now Grind the almonds with water to make a smooth paste.

Pour milk in a pan and bring it to boil.

Now add the paste,sugar ,kesari powder and cardamom.Until the milk gets thicker ,keep stirring in low flame.

Serve it hot or cold.

For kids instead of sugar we can mix honey to make it a "Healthy Drink "

Serve it chilled and enjoy...........:)
