PANEER JALFREZI - STEP BY STEP
Paneer Jalfrezi - A recipe with cottage cheese very easy to prepare. Its a delightful combination of crunchy onions and pepper, along with paneer and tomatoes . Serve with hot roti's and enjoy.
For this recipe you need
1 cup of paneer cubes
1 large onion
2 nos. of ripened tomatoes
1 medium sized capsicum
1 tsp. of ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. of chilli powder
1/2 tsp. of cumin powder
1/2 tsp. of garam masala powder
1 tsp. of cumin seeds
Salt
Oil
Heat oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and saute for a min. Add the sliced onions and fry them until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute until the raw smell extracts from it. Now add the sliced tomatoes.
Add the spice powders along with salt ,keep stirring frequently until the powders get blended .Add the sliced capsicums and saute them for about 5 mins.
Finally add the paneer cubes and cook for a couple of mins. Remove from heat and finally garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Paneer Jalfrezi is ready to be served....................
Serve this Paneer Jalfrezi with hot roti's and enjoy :)
Note:
If using a store bought paneer, drop them in a bowl filled with hot water and keep it aside for about 15 mins. It helps to make them soft.
