IDLI SAMBAR RECIPE - STEP BY STEP

IDLI SAMBAR

This recipe is a speciality of South India.Idli  and sambar medley makes a perfect breakfast. The main ingredients for this sambar are vegetables and lentils, which are cooked seperately , and finally combined together, seasoned with salt and the most important powder to be added is the gotsu powder, which gives a rich flavor to this sambar. Please do not be put off by the long cooking time, as the final dish is worth giving a try. Eventhough you have lots of chutneys ,there is nothing quite like eating hot idli's along with sambar. Serve it with a tsp.  of ghee and enjoy :)
